Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 1, 2026
1. Who We Are
Plurence LLC, an Indiana limited liability company ("Plurence", "we", "us"), operates the Plurence LLM Gateway and related services. For privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at privacy@plurence.com.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information necessary to provide, improve, and secure our services:
- Account data - name, work email, company name, and authentication credentials.
- Usage data - API request logs, token counts, latency metrics, and error records tied to your account.
- Billing data - payment method details processed and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
- Technical data - IP addresses, browser type, operating system, and cookies used for authentication and analytics.
- Communications - messages you send to our support team or through inquiry forms.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provisioning and operating your account and API access.
- Processing payments and sending invoices.
- Detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and policy violations.
- Providing customer support and responding to inquiries.
- Sending transactional emails (account events, billing, security alerts).
- Improving our services through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use the content of your LLM prompts or responses for model training without explicit opt-in consent. We act as a data processor for customer-submitted content — you retain ownership of and responsibility for any data you submit through the API.
This policy is intended to comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA where applicable.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for the lifetime of your account plus 90 days after deletion to support lawful obligations and dispute resolution. Detailed request logs are retained for 30 days by default; enterprise plans may configure longer retention. Aggregated usage metrics are retained indefinitely in anonymized form.
5. Sharing and Subprocessors
We share data only with trusted subprocessors necessary to deliver the service, including cloud infrastructure providers, our payment processor (Stripe), and email delivery services. All subprocessors are bound by data processing agreements. A current list is available upon request.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict processing of, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@plurence.com. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard controls including TLS 1.2 or higher in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, and comprehensive audit logging. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
8. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication sessions. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics, if used, are privacy-preserving and do not share data with third-party ad networks.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
