Terms of Service

Effective date: April 1, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using any Plurence service ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). "Plurence" refers to Plurence LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

Plurence provides an LLM gateway platform that routes, policies, and executes requests across AI providers. Features, pricing, and availability are described on our website and may change with reasonable notice.

3. Accounts and Access

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately at security@plurence.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

  • Generate or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract model weights or proprietary algorithms.
  • Engage in denial-of-service attacks or other activity that degrades service availability for others.
  • Violate the acceptable use policies of any underlying model provider routed through the gateway.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access.

5. Billing and Payment

Fees are charged based on your plan and usage as described on our pricing page. All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Payment is due upon invoice. We reserve the right to suspend access for overdue accounts after reasonable notice. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by law.

6. Data and Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. You retain ownership of the data you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process your data for the purpose of providing the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

Plurence and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including software, designs, and trademarks. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plurence's total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) $100 USD. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and we will delete your data in accordance with our retention policy. Sections 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 survive termination.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Beta Program

Certain features of the Service are made available as a beta release ("Beta"). By using Beta features, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • Beta features are provided for evaluation purposes and may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change without notice.
  • Beta features are provided "as is" with no warranties. Uptime SLAs and support commitments do not apply to Beta features.
  • Plurence LLC reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Beta feature at any time without liability.
  • Pricing and feature availability described during Beta are not guaranteed and may change at general availability.
  • You agree not to rely on Beta features for production workloads or mission-critical applications.
  • Feedback you provide about Beta features may be used by Plurence LLC to improve the Service without any obligation to you.
